LEICESTER Speedway wish to provide a further update for supporters as the 2026 season approaches.
Our team building for the Premiership is now complete, with the final rider due to be announced on Thursday morning.
We have also been confirmed once again as members of the National Development League meaning at least five extra meetings at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park.
With the points limit now set, we are already in advanced negotiations with riders, and we expect to be able to name our NDL team by early next month.
We regret that it has not been possible so far to put season tickets on sale, due to the uncertainty over the make-up of the Premiership.
It is known that at least five teams will be competing, but whilst there is the possibility of a sixth the full structure of the competition, and therefore the number of meetings, remains to be confirmed.
Fixture planning is taking place as far as is currently possible, and we expect our official senior campaign to begin in early April.
We do intend to put season tickets on sale, and this will be done as soon as we can offer a guarantee on exactly what these tickets will cover.
